JOB PURPOSE  

To manage and direct the Logistics Solutions functions to enable the achievement of business objectives in alignment with company’s vision and mission.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

  • Lead the formulation and implementation of the the companies new logistics solutions’ strategy in line with the company’s short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.

Budgets and Financial Plans

  • Prepare and recommend the budget for the Logistics Solutions and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the Chief Logistics and CEO are aware of anticipated costs and revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement are capitalised upon.

People Management and Organisation Structure

  • Manage the effective achievement of the Logistics team through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating subordinates, and providing them with on-going guidance in order to maximise the subordinates’ and the Commercial overall performance.

Sales & Commercial:

  • Implement and manage the new logistics solutions plans to achieve business effectiveness and efficiency of institutional performance.
  • Defines company’s strategic objectives for growth and development of business, markets, products and places the commercial plans to achieve them.
  • Manages the development of the strategic relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Monitoring & re-evaluating customers prices and contracts to generate higher yield and control the revenue processes.

Operations:

  • To oversee all operations and the execution within solutions logistics division.
  • Oversee and maintain the best pricing and consistency within the team.
  • Review contracts and suppliers’ agreements
  • Ensures that the prices and commercial conditions reflect market conditions and align with the global guidelines and pricing strategies.
  • Manages and control prices levels and pricing models throughout the sales process and secure the necessary internal approvals.
  • Lead the organization’s business development strategy. Identifying and executing on opportunities
  • Elaborate business development plans, design and implement processes to support business growth

Reports

  • Ensure that all reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet the company’s requirements, policies, and standards.
  • Prepare and review certain management reports related to the Logistics Solutions performance and update the CEO on all related activities in order to support the CEO’s decision making process.

Health, Safety & Environment

  • Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the shared services department in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service and a responsible environmental attitude.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business administration, Management or related
  • Preferably Master’s degree in Supply Chain,Business Administration, Management or related.
